Wowww👌What an exceptional book--- a brilliant storyline about first love and second chances!!! This is exactly the type that I go for --- childhood friends who fell in love with heartwarming desires for each other, and yet, somewhere along the way, twists and turns happens--- nevertheless with David and Amelia fate had played a part towards their destiny--- they realized that they were meant
for each other, surviving the raging storms, the angst, the doubts and conflict of emotions, in the final analysis of their devotions towards each other, inevitably every obstacles were done with, Davids obsession for Amelia has brightened their path towards their one and only true love for each other, unbreakable towards eternity... happily ever after!!!
I received an advance reader copy from the author for an honest review. This book had a lot of potential with a story about best friends who eventually become lovers. But I have some convictions about it, so it didn't live up to my expectation. First of all, the flow of the book was a little disjointed, I found myself reading certain parts of the book again just so that I could comprehend what was going on. I didn't like the naïveté of Amelia and maybe denial of her best friends affection towards her. Davids love for Amelia was obvious to everyone but her. The only parts I liked about the book was David's interaction with his fiancé, the dialog between was the highlight of the book for me. The last I didn't like was how quick the book ended, it felt like the beginning and the ending was missing. Well since it's not the ending and a prequel is on the way, I hope the prequel out do the first book!
I will confess that the Hazel Keys is a new author for me and what caught my eye was the sexy bunch of guy on the cover. After I finished fanning myself I read the summary and decided to give the series a read because I love friends to lovers plot lines so I had high hopes for the books. Obsessed had me hooked from the start because it started with David’s P.O.V and not Amelia’s and I thought how refreshing. From the first chapter, I found myself rooting for them to get together. I wanted to shake Amelia at times but that’s a good thing means I am into the book. I am just thankful that when I was shaking my fist at her for being so scared I was home alone so no one could hear me screaming “Are you kidding me? I can’t believe you did that!” There was no one to laugh at my antics. Overall the characters were awesome. Really fleshed out. And the scenes between David and Amelia were hot! I needed a fan and a cold glass of water after reading them. I laughed, I screamed, shook my fist at the two of them. In short thoroughly enjoyed myself. Now I can’t wait to read the next book!

I received Obsessed with My Best Friend as and ARC. This book is between Amelia and David. They have been friends forever. In most cases there is always that one friends that is going to love there life long friend. That is the case with David.....maybe both? Well There has always been that other person and just not the right time. Seems to be happening all the time. Well Amelia is single and David is not. This time David is trying to decide if he wants to marry is fience or is it time to take that risk!!!
This was a short read. It is also two POV. I love when there are two POV. This book really needed it. You get to go in the mind of Amelia and see how she really feels about David and the web that David has in his. I actually feel for David cause he is really torn on what he needs to do. He doesn't want to hurt his fience but in the end he wants everyone to be happy. There is a little back a forth, a little messy bit, and a little of come on already just stinkin say it!!! Like I said it is a quick read and a good HEA.
This was an okay read. It is a well written story but I just did not connect with the characters.
Really enjoyed the book. Very hard to put the story down. I really recommend this book to everyone. I really enjoy Hazel Keys books!
I love best friends to lovers books. I think love between best friends is forever and endering. This book was fantastic and I loved it. Would recommend it highly. A must read.
